"NO" is a drama show to wide-ranging aims to be a history of actions, emotions and ideas that, although involving a small community, they are still representative of what are the different faces of the prism, which we will call "human". A drama of the soul and the dream that is told and is materialized through the representation of "art behavioral" inexorably shaped by emotions and surrounding environment, as well as a tree by the wind, a rock of ice, imperceptibly, slowly. Everything happens inside a container apparently bare and minimal, but attention to details, highly symbolic, where the scenery and the spaces are evoked, drawn and finally occupied by the constant and simultaneous presence of all the actors. The "residents" this dream "village" will reveal their thoughts, actions and reactions, calling themselves the physical limits of their performing space.

Theater ArtLab Rome presenteert; “NO!” In Theater “De Kapel” - Oude RKZ, Groningen - wordt de hele week gerepeteerd; tien Italiaans acteurs bereiden zich voor op de voorstelling die gespeeld wordt op 16, 17 en 18 augustus. Oude vragen worden benaderd op een moderne manier; hoe handhaaft de mens zich binnen de maatschappij waarin hij opgroeit, welke keuzes maakt hij en hoe verhoudt hij zich ten opzicht van zijn medemens? In de voorstelling “NO” gaat een dichter, teleurgesteld in het leven, op zoek naar het verhaal in het dorp waarin hij leeft, maar de mensen om hem heen lijken te zijn vastgeroest in hun dagelijkse stramien. Het lijkt hem allemaal te ontglippen en dat drijft hem tot wanhoop, totdat hij zich realiseert dat vluchten geen oplossing is. Geschreven en geregisseerd door Andrea Lanciotti O.l.v. Massimiliano Sailorlost Buono (ArtLab, Rome). Italiaans gesproken, Engels ondertiteld.
